Towards Understanding Islam is a book composed by Sayed Abul Ala Maududi which picked up its writer a notoriety for being a religious educator and real scholar. This book has been converted into various dialects. Jamaat-e-Islami claims that it has been converted into 13 dialects. One English interpretation of this book is by Prof Khurshid Ahmad. Initially written in 1932 in Urdu, under the title Risala-e-Diniyat, the book was expected as a course book for understudies of the higher classes and for the overall population. It served an imperative need and turned into a well known Islamic peruser. The vast majority of the schools and universities of South Asia embraced it as a course book in religious philosophy and made its investigation a piece of their educational program. My motivation in composing this book has been to give each one of those people - Muslims non-Muslims-who has no entrance to the first wellsprings of Islam with a concise treatise giving a clear, extensive and widely inclusive perspective of Islam. That is the reason I have maintained a strategic distance from exchange throughout the moment subtleties and have tried to depict the whole picture of Islam from one point of view. Additionally, I have not bound myself to express what we Muslims have confidence in and represent, yet have likewise endeavoured to clarify the judicious bases of our convictions. Likewise, I have not just exhibited the Islamic methods of love and the frameworks of the Islamic lifestyle, however, have additionally endeavoured to divulge the astuteness behind them.
